What
you're doing here is updating your TCP/IP settings to ensure that you
are pointing to the right DNS servers. Don't worry if you don't even
know what a DNS server is - we'll take you through it step by step. Ok,
here goes...
Update Settings:
Select System Preferences from the apple menu as shown below
Click on the 'Network' icon within Internet and Wireless
On the next screen that appears, you should be able to see the manually set DNS server entry/entries. You just need to click advanced here to change these
Click on the DNS tab to make the changes:
Highlight the DNS servers that have been manually set and click remove for each and then ok once complete:
Just click apply on the Network screen and that's it - you are done!
Different operating system?
